Placer County is preparing to give millions of taxpayer dollars and prime public land in Kings Beach to the 39° North hotel-condo project—without key safeguards. This project hasn't completed environmental review, proven its financing, or guaranteed meaningful benefits to the community.
We're not against growth—we're for accountability and transparency. Before we invest in 39° North, the project needs to follow the rules the County created: complete environmental review (CEQA), secure financing, and clearly outline how the community benefits.
Use this campaign to ask the Board of Supervisors to pause public incentives until these basic community protections are met.
